Exploring a talent
You see people auditioning on X Factor many who definitely have the talent to being able to sing… but people with other talents are not often seen on TV. I think following a group of people with a talent and finding a way for them to express it will encourage people to come out of their shells and embrace their gift.
I was inspired by Exit through the Gift shop a documentary exploring Banksy's infamous talent and showing off something unique and personal.
The Navy – Life in demand
Seeing my Dad in a Navy Uniform makes me feel proud. I grew up wondering what it was like to give so much of your self to the public – protecting your country in demand and often going out to sea for six months at a time. My Dad joined the navy at the tender age of sixteen. In his late forties, he has come along way and achieved so much, becoming a Chief Officer is the ‘icing on the cake’.
Following someone who has an interest in the navy & the reasons behind it… Finding someone could be difficult and would take a lot of research; I knew people at college who studied a BTEC diploma in Public Services so could get in touch to see whether they are interested.
